The most potent weapon in the hands of the oppressor is the mind of the oppressed. It is not what you are that holds you back, it is what you think you are not that holds you back. What you see and what you hear are small things compared to what you think. The power of the oppressor is ignorance. They keep you ignorant of your ability, your real identity as God's wonderful creature. You need to be a global citizen thinker, beyond the confinement of your community, territory, or even continent. Your mental state is more important than your physical state. That is why you need to create a mental awareness that you are too good and perfect to be a nobody. It is this simple truth that can liberate you and set you free.

It is possible to die in the presence of plenty; it is possible to die unfulfilled because you refuse to be mentally reformed about your true and real identity.

What you feed your soul determines the quality of your life. To live to fulfill your true potential and identity is to be mentally transformed. The children of Israel never made it to Canaan simply because though their location changed, their mentality never changed. For forty years they refused to realize and wake up to their new reality as God's somebody. They were delivered but not free. Your mental state is more important than your physical state.

Transformation is more important than relocation; mental freedom is more important than physical deliverance. Nothing can corrupt Canaan more than Egyptian slavery-thinking. Nothing can make you live below your potential more than thinking less of yourself. No one is more dangerous than a mountain man with a valley mentality, though on a mountain, but his mind didn't make it to the mountain top. Nothing is more catastrophic than God's somebody seeing himself as a nobody. You are God's somebody.

The power of the oppressor is ignorance. They keep you ignorant of your ability. It is not what you are that holds you back, it is what you think you are not that holds you back. What you see and what you hear are small things compared to what you think. God can empower your mind, but you must empower your will. The human will is the most powerful force on Earth. God is able to deliver the people from the power of Pharaoh, but not from the power of their own minds. You are not free until your mind is free. Your mind can only be free until it discovers the truth about yourself.
